This policy explains how FOCAL RAYS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use contrq.com, app.contrq.com, and related services (the “Services”).

Data usage & retention

  • When you upload photos to FOCAL RAYS, we store your input images and edited outputs to process jobs, deliver results, perform quality assurance, provide support, and improve the Services.
  • Edited images are typically available for download from your account for a limited period. After that window, files may be removed from active storage. Backups, logs, derivatives, or operational copies may be retained for security, analytics, dispute resolution, or service improvement, consistent with this policy.
  • We retain account, billing, and consent records as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, meet legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Ownership & rights

  • You retain all right, title, and interest in photos and images you upload to FOCAL RAYS.
  • Nothing in this policy limits your ability to use, sell, license, distribute, or commercially exploit your photos — including delivery to brokers, MLS platforms, clients, or other third parties.
  • FOCAL RAYS does not claim ownership of your photos.

License grant to FOCAL RAYS

  • By uploading images, you grant FOCAL RAYS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, process, analyze, and otherwise use those images as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services — including AI-assisted editing, quality control, and delivery.
  • This license is limited to operating and improving FOCAL RAYS. We do not sell your raw property photos as a standalone dataset to third-party marketers.
  • Where we use content for product improvement or model quality, we apply reasonable safeguards and may rely on aggregated, de-identified, or operationally necessary forms of processing as described below.

Aggregated & de-identified data

  • We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify usage data, technical metrics, and related metadata for analytics, reliability engineering, benchmarking, and product development.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data is not intended to identify you, your clients, or specific properties and is not treated as personal information under this policy.

Business transfers & processors

  • Rights and data under this policy may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction, subject to ongoing confidentiality and legal protections.
  • We use vetted infrastructure and service providers (for example cloud hosting, storage, authentication, payments, and analytics) solely to operate the Services. Those processors may handle data only under our instructions and applicable agreements.

Account, billing & payments

  • If you create an account, we collect identity and contact details you provide (such as name and email), authentication data, and usage history.
  • Payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers such as Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on FOCAL RAYS servers.
  • Billing records, credit balances, subscription status, and transaction metadata may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and customer support.

SMS / text messaging privacy

If you opt in to receive text messages from FOCAL RAYS, we may collect and store your mobile number, messaging consent records, message history, and related interaction data.

We use this information for one-to-one operational or relationship messages — such as support follow-up, account conversations, demo scheduling, or responses to inquiries you initiate. Consent to SMS is not required to purchase or use the Services.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. For help, reply HELP or email focalrays@gmail.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with processors supporting delivery of the messaging service. Security

  • We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Services, including encrypted transport, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
